The 2003 USS James Monroe Reunion was held in Las Vegas, Nevada in October, 2003 at the Boardwalk Hotel and Casino. It was last owned an operated by MGM Mirage and was closed in January, 2006 to prepare the site for construction of MGM’s CityCenter, which opened in late 2009. Wayne Sieckowski did an outstanding job of organizing another reunion for the USS James Monroe Association. Attendance at the event was higher than any previous reunion.
